Picked up Pale Death and Red War from Double Mountain in Hood River (part of their Four Horseman series). Opened up Pale Death tonight and I'm really enjoying it. Anyone know if it made it to shelves anywhere closer to the Portland Metro? I would love to get some more if it's a little closer to home (Clackamas).

I knew I should have picked up 2 bottles and not just 1 :slight_frown:

I saw all 4 all over Portland a couple weeks ago when they were released.

Sweet. Further reading online shows that they were released out here in April. Where did you see them?

Thanks for checking. If I like the Red War, I know where to get more. Still on the lookout for Pale Death...

I haven't had the two you mentioned above, but Hop Lava and Vaporizer were very much mediocre at best (hard to describe but too grainy, imo)

Hop Lava (7% American IPA) and Vaporizer (6% American Pale Ale) are quite different than an experimental bottle conditioned 9.3% Belgium IPA with LaChouffe yeast from Ardennes, but thanks.

I saw these Belgian DM beers in Bend, but I don't think they sent any of the bottles up to WA.

The last time I was at Beaumont Market, they had all 4 Horsemen in stock. Pretty certain of this but that was a week or two ago.

Thanks! I'll give them a call. I know Bailey's Taproom has Pale Death and my wife works nearby, but they have funky hours.

Haha, I knew that would probably get a response. I guess 2-12a is just slightly inconvenient. I sent her there on her lunch time, since after work she is just trying to get the heck out through traffic. The funky or funny part was the picture she text me of the hours on their door.

It is a printed piece of paper scotch taped to the door that simply says:

    2pm to 12am = Beer
    12am to 2pm = No Beer
