double sunshine is fairly available. Delivered on fridays. It's not limited, like the maple trippel, but it's not always easy to find, either.

I'm also ISO, so if anyone has any and would care to hook me up (after OP is taken care of), get at me.

I guess that is how i should have phrased it. I have messaged multiple people for them. I either dont have what they are looking for, or they are asking an awful lot for them. Like others have said - it is pretty hard to get - but it is still a $10 off the shelf beer. Im willing to go above and beyond that, but within reason.

Agreed. There are some pretty wacky FT's involving that beer. Don't get me wrong, it's an incredible DIPA...but it should probably trade more in-line with something like Heady Topper (which, unsurprisingly, seems to be included along most threads offering Double Sunshine).

Doesn't look like many of those FT's are getting much of a response anyway, so perhaps that lack of will help to better align this one.

I probably gave up too much for it looking back, but it really is worth it. Definitely a top 3 DIPA for me.

Yeah, BA Hi-fi and BA Marshal Z are definitely big reaches, but many of the others are definitely reasonable. BCBS and Bramble should defintely be doable, along with the one seeking KBS and "other good Founders" (Better Half maybe?). And the one seeking a LeBleu isn't looking to go one for one, I think that could (should?) get done. It's WAAAAAAY more limited and difficult to obtain than Heady, and I've seen some pretty "generous" FT's in exchange for some Heady.

But ISO's should definitely be able to land one with the right limited distro shelf beer.

It's KIND of an off-the-shelf beer, but not really.

Yes, you find it on shelves of retail stores, but there are three stores in the state that get it, there are delivered in limited quantities, there are strict bottle limits and the DS is the most popular and sells out the fastest, Lawson's delivers once a week and not every delivery has DS.

All in all, I hear what you're saying, and I totally believe folks would over-value it. But it IS very difficult to get unless you're in a small area of central VT or near burlington (and the shop in burlington has a 1 bottle per person limit). That said, it's all about patience. If you have a good trading partner in the area and don't mind waiting up to maybe a month for the trade to go through, you shouldn't have any problem finding it. If you're impatient and want to make a trade immediately, you might find some folks that need a hefty offer to lose one of their weekly rations

Happy searching, if I ever have any extra posted, feel free to hit me up! I promise not ta gouge ya :grinning:
