I'm opening my last bottle from August 21st. Stored at room temperature. Nope. Not for me. If I was to review it today, my rating would be lower than it was. No slight on the wonderful brewery that is Bell's.

Two completely different brews. I agree. Although I like them both.

I have still not seen this around me and any store that has received it, it sold out quickly (and I would prefer just a single anyway).

Distro was weird on this one some stores that sell a lot of Bells haven't gotten any and other stores have cases stacked up waiting to be sold

Have you tried using the Bells beer locator? Seem pretty accurate for where I’ve seen it around here.

Yeah I have and agreed that it seems to be fairly accurate but each store I was in if I didn't see it on the floor I asked and they said that it was already gone and sold out quickly (I didn't ask how much they had received, though). Bell's has a winner on their hands here sales-wise.

This was one of the most disappointing beers I've had in a long time. I'd take a regular two hearted over this any day.

Disagree mildly on count one. Couldn't disagree more on count two.

Are you back? Or have I just not been around as much as I used to be?

I liked this. No, it's not regular Two Hearted, but for a beer called "Double Two Hearted" I think it lived up to its name.

I only had one bottle, so I'm going to wait a bit before giving it a proper review. But I will say it was quite enjoyable, and honestly I went in with low expectations.

It still has that "clean" hoppy taste of the OG, but is slightly sweeter and the booze is definitely present. I don't typically care much for hoppy beers above 10% but this one was done well.

That said, I kinda wish they would do an 8% version. Dial back the booze a bit, but turn the hop character of Two Hearted up to 11. I'd probably pound a sixer of that and wake up dead. But it would be worth it.

So roughly 6-7 weeks old. I didn’t think a beer this beer would age all that well, 6 weeks isn’t really old, but every beer is an individual. The malt/hop balance is close when it’s relatively fresh, and I would assume even under ideal storage circumstances it’s all downhill from day 1. I wouldn’t even begin to think about a buy over 2 months.

Every other Friday they give us five minutes of dial-up privileges at the assisted living facility.

Hope all is well with you and yours....cheers, my friend!

Hey I am comfortable with you being wrong. Are you? Ha- just kidding. I would like to compare both fresh at the same time though. Does anyone know if Double Two Hearted is going to be a regular brew? OR will it only be seasonal?

As far as I know Bell's has not said anything about DTH's future. I'm guessing that it will be an occasional release, but I'll also guess that they are watching the reaction of the marketplace about the release before they decide anything.

I wouldn't mind it being a seasonal like Waldo's but please release it in winter season!
