New, innovative, maybe not. But a new 2 hearted style but bigger, I'll give it a whirl.

I’d love to try the Two Hearted, doubt we’ll see it though.

I’m good for a single bottle or on tap. 6 packs of 11% beer just aren’t my thing and I’m sure the price will be $2-3 more that a sixer than regular two hearted. I do love regular 2Hearted. Most floral hopped beer out there IMO.

Yeah that's kind of where I am at now too and DIPAs can be so hit or miss with me anymore...but I am really interested in at least trying this once, though.

Two Hearted was the first good beer I ever had, probably less than a couple months ago, and it blew me away how good it was. It’s the reason I got interested in sampling a bunch of other craft beers. I think it would be fun to try some at 11%.

At first, I was mistakenly calling it “Two Headed Ale”. Now it looks like there actually will be two heads on this one!

I hope to be able to buy at least a couple of 6pks of DTHA.

Two Hearted was one of my first go to national distro beers. Still very much so to this day.
Recently I’ve been drawn to imperial and double styles of various versions of IPAs. Hopslam, Hopsolution, Hammer Chain, Navaja.
So bring on the double Two Hearted.

Yeah I will be picking up a full case of this if possible. It's nice to have something in August to look forward to.

Going to an 11% beer is very tricky, I don’t like sticky sweet on the finish and most of these tend to go that way. As a fan of 2H it’s definitely a buy if I see it, gotta check it out.

I was curious to see if this was going to be all Centennial or if something else would be added in and it will be all Centennial like 2H; I had assumed so but you never know with bigger beers:

Everything you love about our classic Two Hearted® Ale... now in a double IPA. With two and a half times the amount of Centennial hops, Double Two Hearted® has intense pine and citrus notes, a resinous hop aroma and rich malt character

    Alcohol By Volume:
    11.00%
    Original Gravity:
    1.099
    Shelf Life:
    3 Months

*The site needs to be updated, still showing that it will be in 4 packs.

I’ll definitely keep an eye out for this at the local stores, or else I’ll just head out to Kalamazoo.

I've had this at the Eccentric Cafe. It's an excellent beer, very different from Two Hearted. It's maltier, as you'd expect. To me there was a noticeable bubble gum flavor on top of the Two Heartedness. Surprisingly smooth for 11%.

I've been looking forward to getting this in distro. I can wait another month.

This was exactly my experience with Double Two Hearted at the EC as well. You know it's in the same family of beer as regular Two Hearted but the Double is its own distinct beer.

Just my two cents, those of you talking about buy 12 bottles or a case may want to reconsider. I don't think the shelf life on Double will be long. Unless you drink a case of Two Hearted within a month or two on a regular basis, I don't think you will want to try and kill a case of it in a month or two either.

Me too, it’s easy to overlook because it’s so common, and I’m drinking one right now, but it’s a great beer and one I think is much better if you get it on tap.
