It also list GBD (Golden, Brown, Delicious) in DC. Some yummy stuff albeit expensive (both the donuts and the beers).

I love GBD. Their Fried chicken, donuts and beer are definitely worth the years they're taking off of my life.

I got a real craving after hearing a salon at last year's Savor with Dr. Bill Sysak & one of the owners of GBD on pairing doughnuts & beer. Really gave me a jones to check that place out, too. Can't say I've loved the few beer & doughnut pairings I've tried, but I was obsessed for about a week.

I will say that Rogue Voodoo Doughnut Maple Bacon Ale was kind of gross.

I wish sweets and beer worked for me, but it never seems to work out. Stouts can't replace coffee in my book. I think most beers just aren't sweet enough for desert.

Not cheesecake, but had a cannoli which is sort of the same thing. Had it with an Almanac Dogwatch Sour (http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/24940/97036/) and it was a really great pairing! The beer was actually better with the cannoli than without.
