Downdraft Brewing re-opens

    North Idaho brewery closed in November, now re-opening under new ownership.

    Seems like a lot of breweries that struggle close after an attempt by the owners to sell it to someone else, but not a lot seem to succeed at it.

    Aye, still sad that Rambling Road went that direction. And that wasn't even because business was bad, just that it was a lot of work and the owners decided to go back to Seattle when they got a bun in the oven.:slight_frown:

    Ramblin road was the best there ever was here. The good stuff never lasts.
    Whistle punk is quite good but not practical for me living in Rathdrum. When the weather is nice I'll make an afternoon of parking in the Costco lot then taking the bus into town for a few at WP.

    ... as for Downdraft, I had such an aversion to the original the new outfit will have to shine quite brightly first for me to venture a visit
