I've been thinking it over, and I'd like to downsize my 6 tap keezer to 5 or 4 taps. Is there a good way to plug up the collar holes after I remove the taps and shanks? It must be stylish.

Why do any removal? The taps themselves are pretty stylish I would think???

I would leave 'em in. If you are not brewing that much beer how about making soda, sparkling apple juice, carbonated water.

Any drawbacks to not running anything through a tap for 6 months, a year, or longer? I guess I'd owe it to the Perlicks to go through them and replace some parts.

I guess my original thought was to pull the parts to help protect them and help insulate the collar a little better.

It would be pretty nifty if you put a digital thermometer in on and humidity reader in the other. Or you could get a round digital clock...

I'd just take the faucets off and give em a thorough cleaning, detach the lines, and put them back in.

If you really, really want to plug the holes, buy a suitable sized dowel, cut 1.5" plugs, and 'glue' them in with silicone caulk.

    Wood button plugs perhaps?
