Heading to Austin, TX this weekend for a bachelor party Thurs to Sun. Hoping to pick up a few bottles to bring back with me while I am in town. Will be staying at 601 Brushy St (downtown) and don't have a car. Is there any good bottles shops within walking distance from my location? Also, any recommendations on what to pick up that would be specific for the area or special bottle releases? Plan to pick up something from Jester King already but wouldn't mind getting something that is barrel aged (stout, barleywine, porter). Thanks for any help

Uber over to Which Craft, Austin's only true bottle shop.

If you don't want to uber, then Whole Foods downtown would be your best bet.

If you don't mind a short uber ride, then WhichCraft.

And give up on the expectations to find any Jester King bottles unless you go to the brewery.

if you go to WhichCraft South Lamar Wine and Spirits or w.e is right down the road, should be walking distance.

Not nearly as good as whichcraft but sometimes they have some cool stuff popup on shelves.

Apparently JK Provenance showed up at stores today...so you may see that.

Thanks for the responses, sounds like a lot of good options nearby. Might have to make the trek out to Jester King

Quickie Pickie (1208 E 11th St) is also a great place. Easily within walking distance.

You could also head over to Cuvee Coffee (2000 E. 6th) for some crowlers
