My wife and I are driving out to Cleveland on Sunday to visit the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.. We should get there about 2:30 / 3:00 in the afternoon. We will be staying at the Hyatt at the Arcade. Looking for breweries or brew pubs within easy walking distance of the hotel or the HOF.
We are going to Canton and the Pro Football HOF also and would like tp know places there also.

Butcher and the Brewer is around the corner. Masthead and Noble Beast are short cab rides, or a decent walk. City Tap often has a good tap list, and is very close.

Edit: Fat Heads has a Canton location

IMO skip City Tap. Winking Lizard has a better draft list next door. Take a short Uber to Tremont Taphouse and hit Masthead. And Fat Heads Canton for sure.

Edit: Winking Lizard may be remodeling so it may be closed. Head to Tremont Taphouse then if you want a non-brewery.

Sorry for stealing this thread. Didn't want to start a new one.
Next week Friday we will be flying in early morning to CLV and more than likely staying at a hotel near the airport. Main purpose is to visit R&RHOF. No car rental. Just use public transportation and Uber/Lyft. Not sure how long it will take us to see the museum, but would like to get some food & beer afterwards nearby. Anything nearby the HOF with good food and local craft? Butcher and the Brewer or Masthead? Would love to visit Great Lakes and/or Fat Heads but not sure if I will have the time and head back to the airport area before flying back to LAX the next day.

Masthead and Noble Beast are a must. Also, West 25th is a very short drive across the bridge, there’s at least 5-6 breweries in that area, including GLBC. Edgewater Park is a fantastic place to check out if you have extra time, and an amazing brewery called Terrestrial is extremely close to it. Around there is Gordon Square where there’s some awesome restaurants

You would have to allow at least 4 hours for the R&RHOF. Butcher and the Brewer are a 15 min. walk away and well worth it,

That place qualifies as "amazing" now? Have tried 10-15 of their beers as samples at festivals and made one trip there - have yet to have a beer from them I'd buy again. What is their best beer? Maybe I'm missing something.

@dcgunman Noble and Masthead are best in the RR HOF's general area; Butcher & Brewer is also very good. If you head over to W25th, don't miss Hansa House if you like German beer or food. Went there, GLBC and Market Garden this weekend and Hansa was head and shoulders above the others. Market Garden still makes the most uninspired beer I've ever had.

Past few times I’ve been there I’ve really liked everything. They’ve got a really solid pale ale C.C. Rider that uses old school C hops, a nice Black IPA, I liked the blueberry version of their “turtle” porter, they had a bunch of solid lager styles too. Nothing was just “meh” there, all very cleanly-executed beers. I was totally happy with everything I’ve ordered there.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I pesonally would say they’re worth going a little out of the way for (cause I have to go out of my way to get there from the east side). Atmosphere is pretty cool too, staff is really nice. Can’t complain!

Oh, and DEFINITELY have to second Hansa, which is a must.

Hi all! I'm in town tomorrow night for business, staying at the Westin Cleveland Downtown. Unfortunately, both Masthead and Noble Beast are both closed on Mondays. Is there a good restaurant and/or beer bar in the downtown area with a solid tap list and decent food, preferably with Ohio beers on tap?

Is it too late to suggest not going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Pretty sure Tupac is in it while Judas Priest and Iron Maiden aren't

If you need some beer while at the hotel you can check out Heinens, they do a great job, and their tap list is always up to date.

Look for the downtown Cleveland location. Actually you can dine there and have a beer as well if looking for a non bar scene.

Thank you both for the Heinen's recommendation! That was a great way to try a few OH beers before dinner on Monday night. I was able to enjoy the Mast Landing Saturday Transfer and Columbus Brewing Co. Sodbuster. Even better, they were both $3 for happy hour!

My meeting on Tuesday afternoon got out early so I was able to hit Masthead for an hour before hitting the airport. Was able to sample a few different IPAs and an awesome BA stout, as well as enjoy the cherry poppers appetizer. That's a fantastic space (lots of tables, room to move around, bit TVs) that I hope to visit again in the future, hopefully before a Browns game!
