Walking distance, you have Capitol garage at K and 15th, Rubicon at Capitol and 20th, Lowbrau at K and 20th. Just off the top of my head. Cab distance you have more, just depends on what you're looking for. Plenty of good beer around downtown/midtown.
Burgers and Brew has the largest quality craft selection on the grid (downtown and midtown), but a lot of it is typical of what you would find at other spots around the country. Blackbird is a small spot that generally has a Moonlight beer or two on tap (rare, great), worth a peak. Unfortunately, there are not any spots near you that have a large selection of local beers and we have some damn good ones. Do you feel like taking a cab anywhere? Have time during the day to hop a bus or train? There are a ton of great options if you leave the grid.
Just had bangers and mash and an IPA at de veres, now hailing a taxi to have a few more at burgers and brew. Thanks for the tips !
Pangaea Two Brews cafe is more than worth checking out and its right outside the grid. You can check their website for a tap list too. I second what was said about Blackbird, plus they have good food and a fresh seafood bar. Its on J and 9th
