    Hello,

I’ll be going to Doylestown, PA for the Thanksgiving holiday and I’m looking for recommendations for bottle shops, breweries, or taprooms to visit while out there. I’d be interested in going to places up to 30 miles away. Also, if anyone had any insight into where to go for the Black Friday BOurbon County release it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

30 miles is a pretty big radius, you could probably include Philly in your range.
Keeping fairly close to Doylestown, there are a few Wegmans that should have decent selection and price as well as The Blue Dog in Chalfont for beer to go.
As far as breweries, I'll list a couple favorites within your range.
Across the river to Jersey would be Conclave and Troon.
On the PA side, Vault in Yardley and Neshaminy Creek in Croyden.
Funk in Emmaus, Forest and Main in Ambler are a little farther for you, but still probably close enough.
The closest breweries to Doylestown are Doylestown Brewing--I haven't been yet, and Tower Hill in Chalfont---really good food, average or below beers.
Definately check out facebook for all of the above to see their holiday hours.

While not necessarily beer (although they do have taps), if you are looking for a good cocktail, my step daughter's boyfriend is a bartender at HopsScotch22.

If you're going to visit those two I'd throw in Broken Goblet as it's close and they have made "some" great beers.

I've been to Doylestown Brewing twice - I would put their beer in the same category as Tower Hill.

In Doylestown proper, not a brewpub but you'll get better beer at M.O.M.'s

Yeah, this area has a lot of breweries/brewpubs. If you use the 25 mile radius on BreweryMap, there are 74 breweries that are that close to Doylestown.

Forest & Main, Free Will, and Round Guys are all about 10 miles and I would recommend them in that respective order.

You'll see that Doylestown, Mad Princes, Bucks County, Crooked Eye, Triumph are all closer but IMO are not worth a special trip.

I forgot about Free Will--they have a place in Peddlers Village that would be even closer to Dowlestown.

Shocked no one has recommended Tired Hands in Ardmore yet. Not a very long drive down the turnpike two exits. Also has a lot of take out beer in bottles and cans these days, and almost anything on tap can be put in a growler.

Hidden River, Free Will, Forest and Main. Funk Brewnig up in Emmaus is pretty good as well and you can also hit Colony Meadery if that's your thing.

B&B Beverage in Doylestown is a great bottle shop. They have singles, sixs, cases and a few draft selections for growler fills.
