You can look to the Harry Potter jelly beans if you need help identifying some common flavors we discuss in beer reviews. Bandaids, barnyard, green pepper, soap...

Can't help but wonder if an IPA jelly bean fall off in flavor after a few weeks...

From the Jelly Belly website: "We have taken your favorite draft beer and turned it into a gourmet jelly bean!"

Now, how do they know what my favorite draft beer is? Is this really from Jelly Belly, or the NSA? :grimacing:

I live about 2 miles form the JellyBelly Factory store in Pleasant Prairie. I will go see if they have some tonight and give them a try.

At first read of this thread title, I thought someone would have been making beer outta the flavored jelly beans.

Just heard about this via Vsauce2 on youtube and they are out of stock till Feb 10th

I just love how they never really describe what it taste like and keep throwing the words "It taste like craft" and mentioning hops many times. To hear its a Hefeweizen means its still craft but the style is not very hoppy. They really made it sound like it was going to be a pale ale or IPA.

From the video I was afraid my "favorite style" was going to be an adjacent lager. Hefeweizen isn't as bad when you think sweet jellybeans.

Id pick up some hefe-jelly beans in a heartbeat. I want to see how they turned out. I hope that they make more beer flavors!
