    Sly Fox has used those 360 cans for a few years now...

    However, adoption has been slow and Sly Fox still puts most of their been in regular cans, because too many places don't allow that can. It's mostly beaches, because if 360 can lid became litter it is still sharp enough to cut someone's if they stepped on it. :slight_frown:

    I've never had any of their beers..

    I think they look pretty sleek. Its different you know, and granted it may not swing you to buy more of their beers, but when you're drinking from a cool looking can, the guy next to you might begin to ask what you're drinking and next thing you know, you've got a craft convert!

    You know those things outside of restaurants and bars that you drop your cigarette butt into? My invention is called "The Butt Hole" trademarked (not really). Some ideas just really suck!

    I'd probably buy it at about $10-15.

    I don't get these kickstarter or gofundme type things.. Get your product out there. HAVE IT AVAILABLE and maybe then, and only then will I check it out.

    How many backers got that self sustaining fancy growler from a year or two back?

    Any successful kickstarter products out there?

    I know there was a brewery that was trying to get going on kickstarter. They wanted to have it to where people could vote on the beers they wanted them to brew next INTERACTIVELY. Nice concept. But do like every other brewery out there and have it all made and completed, and then I'll check it out.

    what if you are hiking and you want to get the quality out of the beer that you would get if poured into a glass? this is convenient for people who like to do outdoor activities, i think its a great idea.

    Another BA mentioned the same thing to me and while I agree that it would be convenient for outdoor activities such as hiking, wouldn't a can opener perform the same duty nearly as well if not better? Not to mention the fact that this glorified can opener costs $45 USD which is quite over-priced in my opinion.

    Entire states ban them - lots of laws were passed back in the 1970s, often as part of the mandatory beverage bottle/can deposit laws, that were meant to prohibit the old detachable "pop top" design. In Sly Fox's case, that includes two neighboring states with large populations, NY and NJ.

    Similar bans were proposed or passed in FL, MD, WI, NV, CA, NC, OK, NM, PA, etc.

    When BBC and their can manufacturer Ball (SF's can is from Crown) were designing their proprietary beer can, they toyed with the concept but rejected it for that very reason.

    As usual, @jesskidden sets us straight. :wink: I'd rather be wrong and corrected than wrong and perpetuate falsehoods.

    @Avelasquez80 see above.

    I could care less how the beer gets in my stomach lol. Whether I have to shotgun it on the go, or take the proper time to put it in a glass. Its all going one place anyways!
