Anyone else in the MI area going to this? I'm pretty sure there's no bottle sharing allowed, but I'm stoked to pick up a few bottles of the BBA Peanut Butter stout.

Limit one vanilla, one peanut butter, and two barleywine. All are 12oz. ~$10 per.

Wonder how many people make the trip with the bottle limits. Still should be a cool party.

Mark said they were 16 ounce bottles. Based on the picture he posted they look too big to be 12oz.

Pretty disappointing as I live an hour away, long drive for 4 bottles.

I didn't realize there were bottle limits. That sorta sucks, I was hoping to get like 4 of the barleywine to see how it ages.

There are around 250 bottles of each (maybe more barleywine, not sure) Aaron would like to get the bottles into as many peoples hands as possible...I find it to be awesome he did that as it would have probably sole out in under 100 people...

Any idea when people are going to be lining up for this? I live close but would like to get the full allotment if possible

Ugghh....would like to think that lining up wouldn't be necessary.

I would be surprised if people were going to stand out in the forecasted weather for 4 bottles. But I've been surprised before...

I would hope this to be the case but I've heard rumors some people might line up early. Hopefully it won't be many. Is a bottle share allowed beforehand at least?

Seems like I saw on the Detroit facebook group that people mentioned lining up and bottle sharing. For a 4-bottle release. In the rain.

Might want to get an official response from DT. Their location is right along a pretty busy road. Not many breweries want to jeopardize their liquor licenses by allowing people to drink in their parking lots or along their sidewalks.

I second the sentiment above - don't share unless they have a fenced off area to wait in. I was thinking of showing up at 11-11:30. I really hope I don't have to wait longer than an hour...

At 1145 I was in the 100 in line range. Took like an hr and a half or so to get through. Took my friend 2 hrs she said. Peanut butter I wouldn't wait in line for but the vanilla one was GREAT!

Would have been nice to have more than one register in the bottle line. And doing pours and glasswear in the bottle line helped to slow things down.

I had the opposite view of the beers. I love the peanut butter. It wasn't a peanut butter bomb like dragontrax, more of a subtle note thanks to loads of vanilla. The vanilla was pretty decent.

I felt both had a pretty strong rye spice. Not chiles or pepper. But maybe from the malts? I don't think it was just the barrel because I had the non-barrel aged mean coffee bean and had the same experience.

For a first anniversary, was pretty happy with the beers and the event.

This was pretty decent for their first bottle release. The line was pretty slow but I imagine they did not expect 200+ people to be waiting in line.

The beers were pretty good. Vanilla was probably my favorite. I was hoping for more peanut butter taste but the peanut bean was good.

The Barleywine really tasted like an American Barleywine. It was not super hoppy but this is not an English Barleywine.
