So I saw in a recent thread that Dragoon is canning their IPA. Is this just a brewery only option or will we see it hit retail?

    Brewery release today.

Not sure about wide distro, but there is an event at Tap & Bottle October 7th which I believe will include the sale of cans.

Really hope these make it to Phoenix. Killer IPA -- bracing, pungent goodness.

Yeah if you guys aren't asking about bars in DFW or how many bottles of X Jester King beer are left then it needs to go.

Thanks, the release went great and we're really happy with how the cans have turned out. There's another event tomorrow at Time Market starting at 3, and the Tap and Bottle event on the seventh. The only other place that I know will be getting cans soon is Plaza Liquors but I don't know the exact date yet. As for other retail slots, we'll have to see how taproom sales and T&B go and see how much we can pump out on our tiny canning line. We'll be able to get into many more places once we get a new canning line sometime next year.

That's the line I've been looking for! Hope to make it down to Tucson to grab some in the meanwhile.

We're canning two days a week now, so hopefully we can get into more locations in PHX very soon.

Awesome stuff, man. You guys still working on that old canning system? Any timeline for a newer one (which, I assume, would make the job easier/more efficient)? Scored a pack last night and stoked to break into it later today!

We're still pumping it out on the old manual line for now. We had to hire a few new people to keep it going and not throw off the rest of our production schedule too much. We're on track to get a sweet new canning line sometime later this year, as long as sales continue to climb. Getting into some of the bigger stores like Whole Foods and Costco especially helps justify the cost and time spent. It's a labor of love but we're all really stoked to see how people have responded to the cans!

Yo, @afrokaze, saw you guys are releasing your first barrel-aged sour coming up. I assume this is draught only, no bottles? Will any kegs leave the brewery?

Continuing to wolf down IPA cans -- keep the freshies comin'!

Glad you asked! I wanted to post about the sour release but wasn't sure about the rules. Les Coeurs, our first barrel aged sour, is coming out on Saturday, March 19. It's a blonde sour that spent over 2 years in a mix of mostly white wine barrels (not sure what kind off the top of my head) with Brett, Lacto, and Pedio. It's tasting amazing and i hope you guys can make it, it will only be served at our taproom.[IMG]

Also, keep an eye out for a special can release coming pretty soon... I doubt it will see distribution, but that's all I can say for now. Cheers!
