Last year at 6am there were already around 20 people in line.

Some of them were, yes. Those looking for rhino kegs can breathe a little easier this year. We'll have 40 available as opposed to around 12 last year.

Yeah not sure why there would be a line for hopacalypse in the first place.

Got there at 8:30. Line moved pretty smoothly at 10. Some confusion on lines but it got worked out. Drake's ladies were helping the cause to direct the wayward stragglers like myself. Got my two black label bottles for $12 a piece. Green label was $8 if I remember correctly. There was firkin going on and some running out of black label draft going on, but otherwise it was nice event. Not sure how it is now...but the bottles were going quickly. I must say the black label seemed a bit malt forward than previous years. Another recipe change perhaps? Still solid as usual.

I got in line at 9:15am. Moved smoothly until we got to the entrance a lot of confusion on which line was which. The staff was trying hard to keep it smooth but still had to navigate. Left with my haul shortly after 11 and it seemed like it was getting worse.

All that said, green label= fantastic, black label not what I expected but still good, post was I interesting. I would have bought a keg of green but my kegerator just died last week.

Thanks to Drake's for a great brew and fun morning yesterday.
