Is the barrel house kid friendly? I'm thinking of making a trip down there with me and my friends family. I know they don't have food, but that's easily remedied. Just wondering if they're accepting of well behaved kids.

    Thanks.

Like above, nobody under 21. At the Aroma Coma release today, some guy left his toddler at the entrance so he could run in to get bottles.

    Aroma Coma is THAT good...

Great. Glad I checked! Thanks for the info.

In retrospect, I should have known. I'm pretty sure that you have to serve food to be all ages when you have alcohol, at least in CA.

I hope to see some of that in my area this year. Had to go to SF to get some last year.

They do have food trucks and food companies that are there weekly, but you need to check their site or Facebook page for that info.

    Thanks for the info.

I was mainly checking to see if my friend and I could go with our fams, or if we'd have to travel alone.

My wife loves beer but is not a fan of barrel aged beers. Is drakes worth our time when we visit sf next month if this is the case?

It's definitely worth a visit. Besides the handful of barrel aged beers they offer, they have around 5-10 standard offerings, and usually the seasonal offerings...like Aroma Coma/Aroma Prieta.

What I did today for the release was left my kid in the toy isle at the Walmart. We both had Walkie Talkies so he was able to keep tabs on me. ::jokes::
