Lots of Belgian suggestions here (and with good reason), and I'll re-iterate Fou' Foune and Hommage, my two favorite sours of all time.

But I also wanted to throw in a suggestion for Home Sour Home by The Rare Barrel. Like a sour cobbler in an extremely good way. Holy shit.

 

From a road warrior who gets to a LOT of breweries and loves Bretts and sours - Crooked Stave is producing the best beers in the world. I have stood in line for hours to get my hands on top-rated fruited sours that simply don't hold a candle to CS beers.

 

Yesssssss. That beer is criminally overlooked. So good.

 

Pretty limited, but try to get a bottle of Snake River Le Serpent Framboise.

Cuvée des Jacobins Rouge! This beer doesn't get mentioned nearly enough in my opinion, and it's one of the best sour beers out there (though not lambic-style, mind you, it's a Flemish sour ale).

If you have it in a tasting, my advice is save it for last because it's one hell of a taste explosion.

 

Still one of the best I've had as well. Still trying to find a Fou Foune. I'm a sucker for the stone fruits what can I say!

 

I've been lucky enough to have FF twice. Once when my local beer bar tapped a keg during a huge snowfall and being crazy enough to drive out to get some. I still barely managed to get a pour before it kicked. The other time a buddy of mine who is a beer buyer for a bottle shop surprised a couple of us at a small bottle share. Someday I'll get a bottle that I can take to the dome all by myself lol.
