Drinking For a Good Cause

As I am sure most of you may know, there has been a huge buzz on BA the last two days about a fellow BAer (BigGene) and the loss of his friends wife during child birth. Gene has set up a paypal fund to raise money to help his friend out. Looks like almost 100 people have donated so far. This is an incredible story of how beer and the BA community has come together to help out someone we dont even know. I spoke with Gene and I decided to take things even further. I have arranged an event with MIA Brewing Co. at there new facility in Doral for Saturday July 6th. We have arranged an event with several Brewers in South Florida to come and pour their beers for free. This is obviously a 21 and over event and is intended for the purpose of raising funds for the family.
