Surely, I can't be the only one drinking homebrew on a day meant for drinking.

    I'm enjoying this beer:

malts - Pearl, Red Wheat, Biscuit, Honey

    hops - Comet, Centennial, Pacifica

    yeast - wy1098

First time using Comet and it won't be the last. Juicy grapefruit, spice and dank from Comet. The other two hops are orange and floral. 4oz of each hop was used and Comet took the lead.

    Happy New Year!

Drinking a pint of 2 year old dark mild, that just keeps getting better with age, alongside my dark Lord clones after having my most disastrous brew day to date.

How do you get a Dark Mild to last that long??

Searing off some meatballs with this seriously juicy dank NE IPA.

Loving the combo of so4 and sach Trois. Also got some more "raw" hop flavor from the early Citra dry hop during active fermentation....I believe.

Working on my second try at AIH's Black F-rye day IPA. The first try was underwhelming to me. But folks liked it and it did disappear quickly.

I adjusted the recipe by adding 2oz Chinook for bittering (1oz@60, 1oz@10) and a pound of honey. The hops which came with the kit (2oz Simcoe, 3oz Cascade) were split between knockout and dry hop. The kit was only 20bux and the additions were leftovers from previous batches.

It's not quite carbonated yet - been in the keg for 6 days @9psi. But delicious and well-balanced for my taste. This was my first time dry-hopping in the keg.

The brew day was a BIAB ipa with honey, at one of my wife's board member's houses. After entertaining five people with beer, I got buzzed (I never drink while brewing), boiled too long, so came out overly high on gravity, low on volume and had to add distilled water to get back to the proper numbers, then shoved all the dirty equipment into my car because they scheduled dinner and were late. All of this is pretty minor, but then when I got back home I filled a bath tub with ice and water to chill... But I left the tub running with fermenters in it, and forgot. Flooded the bathroom and both fermenters tipped over and got diluted with bathwater. After adding some Camden to try and kill anything in the bath water, I eventually pitched yeast, which took 24 hours to take off. Needles to say, I'm rebrewing tomorrow by myself, after my wife recovers from working 24 hours outside in the cold for the tournament of roses parade. Good times.

Drinking my barely hazy Nelson/Citra IPA while I plan the recipe for a more gravy-like creation using 1318.

@Scumbag81 brewing away from home with a crowd always seems like a great fun time.....until it happens.

Imperial blonde coming in at 10.1%. Lactose, vanilla, coffee, and maple syrup. Tastes like breakfast!! To be more exact, a stack of maple syrup pancakes.

In PhotoBucket...when you have the page up that displays your pic, click the box labeled "direct" to copy the link to your clipboard. Then embed that in a picture link in your message. Like this...

When you embed a link that ends in "html" that's not going to work.
