I know there's other Del Mar threads, but the only fairly recent one was a bottle shop thread. We'll be staying at the Fairmont Grand, is there any cool spots near there? Preferred beer-centric but not necessary. For that matter, anyone stay there? Is it worth it? We're getting a pretty good deal.
Just go to Bottlecraft Solana Beach, and hit up Pizza Port as well. Edit: Disregard...since I just checked where the Fairmont Grand is actually located. Didn't think Del mar actually stretched that far east. TIL
That place is sweet.. Fuck the beer. Go spend your money at Addison.. But it is sort of in the middle of nowhere.. You're 11 miles from AleSmith, and once you get there, you have a lot of options along that rode like Mikkeller, Pure Project, etc. If you're staying at the Grand Del Mar, I take it you can afford a $15 Uber ride.
