Drinking Team BIF

    Saw one of these done a few years ago and thought us would put it out and see if anyone is interested.

    Have a local group of 5 guys who trade and drink together on a regular basis and want to see what we can come up with as a group trade
    Looking for teams of local tasting groups (4-10 people per team) from different states to send out massive porch bombs to one another.

    The layout I was thinking
    Looking for 6-10 teams
    No more than 2 teams per state
    Use seek-a-brew to make sure beers you send are not available in targets market
    500oz of beer split up however you want (growlers,bombers,750ml and 12oz)
    Must include 2 BA beers
    86+ BA score- local beers with out score can still be sent as long as the group agrees that it is good
    Team captain holds responsibily
    3 weeks from sign up to shipping deadline

    I don't know how many people drink with a team but I feel like this would be an awesome BIF and would make for some killer tastings.
    If anyone is interested or can give me any input on layout just post here.

    You're talking about a gang bang bif, and i think there's a group that already does this, perhaps they have room for a new NY area group? I'm not involved so I don't know a lot about it but I've seen some haul pictures and nearly shat.

    @Lehighace06 it looks like the gang bang bif moved to another site a few years ago. Still looking for interest in this, would love to get one going on here

    Fair enough, I guess some of the people I talk to hang out on both sites.

    Unfortunately I don't have my own "tasting group" unless a tasting group can be one person.

    @Lehighace06 You could be but 500oz plus shipping is a lot of cash to shell out for just one person

    Lasering, do the site initials=a formerly dreaded disease? Is there a love of gifs, a lack of brotherly love & unholy insanity permeating roughly every other post at this unmentionable place?

    I mean... my stouts box is 400oz or so, another 5 bombers wouldn't be too much more... if 500oz is really all that gets sent per team (rather than being a quickly ignored 'minimum'), I think I can assemble another one or two players and say that the Philly area is in.

    Sounds like a Philly team is official, but I am still curious if the above mentioned 500oz is how much actually gets sent around, or does that translate more to the "minimum" in a BIF, where the final hauls are 2-4 times that much?
