I went through a try everything phase, and while I still love to sample new beers, I've realized the styles I most enjoy and mostly stick to them. That said, I've been finding it extremely hard to pick anything aside from Edward when I go out. If that was available in bottles/cans, I'd almost never drink anything else.

Yes, with Weihenstephan here too sometimes for awhile.

Had a few weeks of (almost) only Victory Prima Pils because it was new to AZ.

The only time this ever happened to me was earlier this year when I had a 3 month stint where I primarily just drank Pilsner Urquell. I still always have it stocked in my fridge and is my go-to after a few big beers or if I bring something to a party and will be sessioning.

Lots of Spotted Cow gets drunk around here. I mean, we pretty much have an obligation.

I've been drinking a lot of Soleil de Minuit recently. That and Don Quixote have kept me pretty well lubricated over the past several months.

I am almost exclusively an IPA and DIPA guy, rotating 8 or 10 of my favorites at all times (Torpedo, Fat Heads, Commodore Perry, White Rajah, 471, Dirt Wolf, Stone, Centennial, Loose Cannon, West Coast, and a few others). I almost always buy singles of new IPAs that I see and occasionally something will stick into the rotation. Buying 6ers sometimes meant I had 4 or 5 loose beers sitting in the beer closet or fridge and getting skipped over for my regulars. Don't think I could ever just get stuck on one.

One beer I always have in the fridge and drink is Anderson Valley Barney Flats Oatmeal stout.

Fresh Weihenstephaner sampler packs with a glass is hard to beat I have at least 8 "weiner-stuffer" glasses!!! The sample rotates, but usually has original helles, dunkel, hefeweizen, dunkelweizen, kristalweizen, (Korbinian Doppelbock or Vitus Heller Weizenbock). All 500 ml bottles, it's the best sampler on the market hands down they come in fresh to one of my local stores at least twice a year and they are all I buy for 15.99 a pack.

I used to do this with Heady Topper back when you could just show up at the Alchemist and buy it by the case.

    Remember those good old days?

Guys, I had a Racer 5 last night and it was deeelicious.

@WBbeergeek, I did not know about those Weihenstephaner sample packs. I'm going to seek those out. Thanks for the tip!

True! Batch #2 is a hefeweizen that's almost ready to bottle. Batch #1 was not very good but I think I made some improvements for this one so hopefully it'll be nicer to drink than my under-attenuated Belgian Pale Ale.

Also, great to see all the beers that you guys may sometimes "get hooked" on. A lot of them I've never tried or even heard of. Much to look forward to! Thanks!

I much prefer variety too, but whenever I notice that a fave of mine is being offered at a steal of a price and maybe for an extended period of time, I'll drink it "til the wheels come off"!

I go through many periods at a time like this with PtE and Fresh Celabration Ale upon release. I don't see anything wrong with it. Drink what you like.

Too many beers to get stuck on one for me. If I could pay Belgian prices for Orval I would probably drink it all day but not at almost $6 a pop.

Gave up on BMC products a LONG time ago. Was on the try a new Blonde, Oktoberfest, Lager, etc. kick for a while but that faded. I pretty much stuck with the "Local" or "regional" Adjunct or Pale Lagers for most of the last year.

Praise to the great Dionysus...for there are more different beers than one can drink in a lifetime. Cheers!!

I find myself buying larger amounts of the beers I truly enjoy drinking those often and then sampling newer or different stuff in much smaller quantities whenever possible.

I blame all the people on BA for constantly trying and evangelizing so many great beers that I can no longer be in and out of a bottle shop in less than 30 minutes
