Drinking very old beer

    Beer Rat here and want to know if you would drink a 20-year-old or 30-year-old or 40 year old beer .I just inquired some beer than Aging too long.

    Shit, why not? That being said, I had some 2016 High Westified a few weeks ago that was a drain poor. The inside of the cap was bubbled and weird looking. Morale of the story is maybe the storage is more important than the age. 40 years is kinda crazy though. But I digress. Again I say, why not?

    Totally depends on the beer. I recently consumed a 42-year old Thomas Hardy's Ale, and it was spectacular. However, another beer might only last a couple of years. If you let us know what the beers are, we might be able to provide more insight.

    I am going to try the Old Nick barleywine that is 30+ years old. May just keep the rest for display.
