Drinking : Weekday vs Weekend...

I only drink on non-gym days

So Tuesday/thursday, no drinking. I cant justify having a beer after a workout at like 9pm. The most i have on drinking weekdays is 2 beers, usually just 1 or none at all. I wake up at 6:45 each weekday for work.

Weekends vary. Saturady i may have some if im not driving anywhere. Sundays are usually the same but early afternoon beers.

 

Drink when ever I feel like it.

im an intermittent knida guy. i try to watch my weight, "try", so ill occasionally become a weekday warrior, and pound a few. but my "diet" really only lets me drink on the weekend.

 

I like to have a few beers or drinks. I don't like being drunk but it happens occasionally, maybe 2 or 3 times a year. The amount I drink never gets in the way with work and family so It basically stays the same throughout the week.

 

I have to watch my weight so about 5 years ago I gave up drinking during the week. I'll cheat if I have a friend in town or its a special occasion but limiting my drinking to the weekends has helped me drop and keep off 20 pounds. I realized that I was opening a beer 10 minutes after I walked in the door from work. Just a habit that I was able to break. I'm more deliberate about what I drink on the weekends. After starting my craft career with mostly high abv brews, I've come around to enjoying lighter session brews if I'm drinking during the day. I'll still down a high abv bomber now and then but I'm a lightweight compared to my early days. It's probably healthier in the long run. Kids and age helped me get out of the 2-3 big bombers a night stage. It was fun while it lasted.

 

I don't drink during the week usually unless there is a special tapping somewhere. Then I only have one. I reserve drinking to friday and Saturday night.

 

Mostly weekends here. I try to abstain on Friday evening if I can but usually fail Saturday ... all bets are off. Sunday I have a nice little morning session and then close up shop by Noon or 1:00. New Beer Sunday has it's claws in me

 

I probably drink entirely to much at this point. During the week the first thing I do when I get home from work is crack a beer and I'll probably have 3-4 beers ranging anywhere from 5-10% abv. On the weekend I'll usually crack my first beer around 2pm have 2-3 more and finish off with a high abv bomber. I'd like to eventually eliminate weekday drinking but I always put it off.

 

One beer a night during the week. Weekends are for bombers. And maybe a day beer here or there.

 

I'll usually go to happy hour and have 3 or so beers on Wed. For the most part I also drink during one weekend night (Fri or Sat), usually Friday. Start off at a local craft beer joint, then have a few people over and have another 3-4 before calling it quits. Intermittently I may have the random bomber/ 12 oz. on a work night in addition to the above quantities.

 

I tend to drink when I feel like it, whether that is a weekday or weekend only determines what time I may or may not have some beer.

 

1-2 a night on average weekdays. Weekends usually include 2-3 brewery visits, 2-3 at each place. So maybe a 8er on a Saturday... It's moreso the law of time being in your favor on weekends

 

1-2 during the week, 4-5 on weekdays, except during NFL Sundays, than it's a whole bunch of Bud Lights

 

*Friday, Saturday and Sunday for me.

*Additional drinking days for holidays, vacations and special events.

 

Depends on what my schedule looks like the next day.

Light day at work? More drinking.

Same goes for the weekend since they tend to be busy for me as well.

 

I drink more on the weekends because work isn't getting in the way.

used to be an everyday drinker but for the past 7 months I only drink on weekends. Now it tastes waaay better!

 

i don't drink at all Mon-Thurs (except very rarely if someplace is an event for something like KBS/BCS on a weds..then i'll have one. I'm more of a Saturday/Sunday afternoon drinker, be it sitting at a local brewery or just watching a game somewhere. I just started a new job a few months ago working in the Loop so my commute went from 8 minutes each way to over an hour..so I don't really drink too much these days..just don't have time to chill at a brewery for a few hours on saturday afternoon.
