I hate starting a new thread for this, but here we go. I'm heading from the TC to Arkansas this weekend. I'll be driving, so I have the ability to move off the main highway to grab beers if there are placed that have special beers. Is there anywhere off 35 in Iowa or KC, then off 49 in Missouri, Oklahoma or Arkansas? Leaving TC at 10-11am Thursday arriving down there around 8pm. Anything??? The down south forum isn't much help... KC folks? Any good sours or other beers?
Madhouse Sours (Blue Dream, Satori Saison and AM Haze) should be available around Des Moines. Prairie Trail HyVee in Ankeny (one of the best selections in all of Des Moines area and about 2 miles off I-35) WineStyles at West Glen has a smaller, but nice selection (sours included) and is like 30 seconds off I-35 Mills Civic HyVee (another nice stop about 30 seconds off I-35)
