    Hey all,

I'll be making the drive next month to Denton, TX from the bay area. I'll be driving through Flagstaff in Arizona, and Albuquerque in NM. Looking for a good place to get a beer in both areas. I've looked at other threads and have already jotted some places down, but asking for your guy's recent opinion. Would love recommendations on bottle shops of stuff that I can pick up on the way as well. I think I have Albuquerque covered as I have down the store jubilation and marble, la cumbre, and bosque for the breweries. I'll only be in each place for a night, so I'll have to narrow it down to a couple stops at most. I'll appreciate any suggestions. IPA's are great but I really prefer Saison/Farmhouse and/or Sour beer.

Gotta get some New Mexican food while in Albuquerque, too. I suggest Cervantes (not far from Bosque Nob Hill), Cocina Azul (very close to Marble Brewery and Ponderosa Brewing), Tia Betty Blues, or Duran's Station (near La Cumbre). Or if you want good food and beer in one place you can hit Nob Hill Bar and Grill (best taplist in the state by a mile) or Nexus Brewing.

Awesome. I was going to go to the Twisters on Isleta Blvd but maybe that's a better spot to walk-in and check out before eating elsewhere.

I love mexican food so i'm looking forward to trying new mexico's take on it.

I'm not much of a fast food person so I have never eaten and Twister's and can't vouch for the food. Visiting that location (and other Breaking Bad locations, of course) is fun, glad to hear you are doing that.

Any chance of going through Phoenix? Or will this be an I-40 trip ?

Pretty sure I'm just doing I-40. What's going on in Phoenix?

Since you mentioned your preference of Saison/Farmhouse and/or Sour beers, Arizona Wilderness Brewing in Gilbert, AZ (a burb of Phoenix) is really doing awesome and unique things, and they have a big list belguim inspired beers, not just an IPA type of place. Perhaps next time

I've had only a couple of their beers and loved them. Are they not distributed up near Flagstaff?

No, AZW is pretty much tap only at the brewpub.
