Is there any legal limit you can bring in? I know in Delaware there was a small amount you could bring into the state. I think it was like 1 case of beer and the equivalent of other alcoholic beverages. I routinely carry 12 or so when I visit my son. Most of it is home brew.

LOL While I was typing my question you posted the answer. It seems you can bring in a gallon of wine but no beer. Kind of a strange distinction.

Agreed. So far I've not found anything that would suggest any beer is allowed at all.

I better start putting some money away for the fines. I wonder how many tickets they could give out on 95 on Eagles game day.

Atlantic does have the best selection, just make sure to check the bottle date on a lot of the IPAs, stuff seems to sit for a bit. But yes, this is a must stop if you are in that area looking for beer.

So where exactly do the beer Gestapo catch people and how? And I find it hard to believe they are combing thru credit card receipts looking for out of state alcohol purchases....

I live in PA, less than one mile from Total Wine in DE, and I have seen PA law enforcement in the parking lot there apparently on "stake outs" watching for PA plates... I suspect they are looking more for the high volume "criminals"... (truck loads and trunk fills) as compared to me and my measly six pack, but even still, when I notice this I stop at my father's place (still in DE) before heading back to PA... Doesn't happen all the time, but there are occasional enforcement activities... less often than sobriety checkpoints from my limited perspective...

How can PA law enforcement even prove a person did not purchase the beer in PA and maybe just didn't take it out of the vehicle before they made a trip over and back the state lines? Also just keep the beer covered up. Problem solved.
