headed towards Corbin, Ky. Where is the best spot to stop and grab some to go? Prefer close to the highway. Any help is appreciated.

I don't know the name of the place, but there's a decent place in Corbin. Sorry.

There is 3 liquor stores in Corbin. The smallest one has the best craft quality. It's Liquor King located in trademart shopping center. I was there last Saturday and picked up some Three Floyds and Bourbon County. His craft selection is small, but it is quality. The store used to be a Dairy Queen, so space is limited. But after standing in the place ten minutes you will realize they do more volume than stores five times their size. Tyler is the manager and the craft beer guy. When I visit my parents off that interstate exit, I always stop there and find something new every time.

A few good options to check out in Knoxville:

    1) Bob's Liquor Store
    2) McScrooge's
    3) Corks
    4) Casual Pint

These are all near the interstate but at different exits. Corks is out in Turkey Creek area, while McScrooge's is at the Cedar Bluff Exit (across the street from Chipotle) and Bob's is at the next exit across the street from a Trader Joe's (if you are interested).

Casual Pint - Bearden (234 Brookview Centre Way #1, Knoxville, TN 37919 - careful there are several locations) will have the biggest selection, and is very close to the interstate (take the Papermill Exit, go straight at the light and turn right to head up to the Five Guys burgers on the right...CP is next door). FYI no high gravity beers there. Love this place though and highly recommend dropping in. Good luck and safe travels!

It's been said already, but yes McScrooge's. If you only make one stop in Knoxville, make it there.
