Driving to Tampa - Today!

    So my buddy and I are driving from Melbourne over to hit Cigar City, Florida Ave Brewing, and Tampa Bay Brewing. So if you see a bald white guy (me), sitting with a Puerto Rican guy, come on over and say hi. Stoked about this trip!

    Enjoy CCB and TBBC, but honestly I'd much rather go to Rapp than Florida Ave. have a good time.

    Rapp is awesome. 20 beers on tap, almost everyone is amazing.

    Cycle or pegs is also very good.

    Rapp is fantastic. I can't go to Tampa without going to Rapp. I wouldn't say it's better than the CCB tasting room, but it's damn good.

    At Rapp you're less than 10 minutes from Cajun Cafe on the Bayou too. That is where you should go soak up the alcohol. With more alcohol.

    Yeah, basically a trip to Tampa metro isn't complete without Cajun Cafe. Paul is good people, the food is great, and the beer selection is uniquely good.

    I'm flying to Tampa next month and the first place I'm going to is Rapp. Very small place, hardly a step up from homebrew. Very small batches with classic beers that push the envelope of what you thought you liked.

    I live about 15 minutes from Rapp... so you're saying I need to get my ass down there sometime? :confused:

    P.S. Ate at the Cajun Cafe at least a dozen times. Great eats, great service, and great beer selection. When our friends visited from Belgium, we took them there... that was one of their favorites places during the 2 week trip.

    if we are talking about beer specifically and not atmosphere, rapp is definetly 2nd after cigar city. amazing brews. then probably cycle/pegs
