So I dry hopped an oz of chinook pellets about 6 days ago and I just threw them in.... There is still some slight hop matter near the surface of the beer in my carboy.... I used some bio fine clear to help with chill haze problems but seeing that all my hop particulate didn't fall out of suspension is cold crashing my next and best option prior to bottling.. I'd like to bottle tomorow or the next day to avoid the grassy dry hop aroma... The beer is NB chinook ipa OG 1.056.

I also dry hop like this. Just throw them in the primary after a few weeks. I usually do 10 days then crash it at 36 deg for 3-4 days. Most all hop matter will fall out in this time. If you have a better bottle there is a little trick I do to get it all to settle. Just grab the neck and give it the most gentle shake. More like a vibration. Just enough to get the particles to fall. Also remember to take the airlock off in order to prevent suck back. I use sanitized foil and a rubber band. This is only for better bottles not glass or buckets.

    cheers!
