Dry Hop Recommendations

    Open your fermenter as fermentation comes to a close or as you approach the end of your first dry hop (not clear to me what stage you are approaching) and grab a sample. You can use this sample for your hydrometer test to help evaluate if you hit final gravity, but then taste the sample.

    Do you like the flavors as is? Maybe don't dry hop at all.
    Do you like the flavors but think they need more umph? Maybe you just want to ramp up the cascade and mosaic?
    Are the flavors missing something? Go for the galaxy and citra.

    Anyhow, I'm a advocate of tasting your homebrew throughout the process to help with decisions like this, and I think many new brewers are reluctant to do this
