Yesterday evening, I was using my new Robobrew System & Catalyst Fermentation tank. After a longer brew than anticipated (volume after first sparge was 1 gallon under, so had to wait an hour to reach desired pre-boil volume), my mind wasn’t thinking & I accidentally threw in the dry hops right after pitching the yeast. Have I ruined my brew? Is there anything I can do to fix this? Luckily, with the catalyst, I have the lever with the trub jar that I can pull things out (if need-be). I appreciate any help/suggestions, thank you!

The only problem is that in your notes you shouldn’t say “dry hop,” you should say “pretty much whirpooled.” Carry on.

Just think of it as fermentation hopping like all the cool kids are doing in their NEIPAs these days

If the beer was cool, no need to say whirlpool. Closer to fermentation hop a la NE IPA. No way this ruins a beer, but it will result in a somewhat different beer, perhaps subtly so.

Thanks for the replies! So it sounds like it’s not the end of the world, but might have a small difference in flavor.

Also, hate to sound stupid but the acronym flew over my head @Bryan12345 - haha what does it mean?
