Dry hopping Christmas Ale?

So I was just thinking about dry hopping my Christmas Ale with with some Cascade hops I have laying around. My question is, well....., how do you think this would turn out? I assume many (if not most) homebrewers would never second guess dry hopping their favorite brews regardless of whatever style it may be. I was just curious as to how these particular hops would affect the spicy flavors within the beer itself (I used a kit from morebeer.com, still learning the basics). The brew has already been in the primary for a week. Any suggestions?
