Dry Hopping in the 3g FastFerment conical

    This is my first time using the fastferment conical, before this I was using glass carboys. My question is about dry hopping. I have a small mesh hop bag that I was thinking about using but since my fermenter has a screw off mason jar at the bottom do you think I should just throw the pellets right in the fermenter or use a bag. Do you lose some flavor / aroma using hop bags for dry hopping ?

    In theory, I would assume that you would see a difference, but also more of a mess.

    Did you ever try dry hopping in this conical fermenter? I’m curious to know how it turned out.
