I was wondering if anybody could give some examples of I.P.A's or D.I.P.A's that are on the drier side. I find most ipa's and dipa's a bit too sweet for my liking. Some examples of drier ipa's IMO would be Stone Ruination and Sculpin. Both of these beers are a bit pricey and I was looking for something to hit the spot with less coin involved. Any suggestions?
Preferably beers you can find in Chicago and surrounding market!

Are you from around here? I don't want to throw out ideas of stuff you've already had/dismissed...

Daisy Cutter from Chicago, Founders All Day IPA from MI  Most of the hoppy Sierra Nevada beers are well attenuated. Firestone Walker is also available in Chicago and meets your criteria

I find Bells Two Hearted to be on the dry side.

Smuttynose "Finest Kind" IPA is pretty dry. Good stuff.

I have been thoroughly impressed with Summit's Saga IPA. I'm like you- I don't enjoy sweet and malty with my hops. Other great hoppy beers to me include anything by Sierra Nevada, HA Daisy Cutter, FFF Zombie Dust, Founders Centennial IPA, Founders Pale Ale, Victory Headwaters Pale Ale.

I'm sipping on a Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere and it's very dry and bitter.
