    Was just considering how our perceptions of what we do in pursuit of good Beer (or any other 'hobby') can influence our lives and came up with this unofficial survey. Thanks in advance for your input.

    My brother introduced me to craft beer in the early 90s and since then I feel comfortable with it. It is something that makes sense to me, I have a hard time with our Canadian mass produced shite, and craft is like an old friend. There is something comforting about walking into a pub, finding the "good" craft beer on tap and saying "there you are my friend".

    I'm a football referee and we often go out in groups for pints after games. I often get ribbed for being a beer nerd or a snob, but there is always at least one other guy who says..."it's nice to have a good pint eh?"

    I checked hobby AND obsession. I enjoy beer (almost) daily by drinking it, shopping for it, talking about it, reading about it, and posting about it :stuck_out_tongue:

    I am in college, and I share two very distinct beer opinions. I do enjoy going out to parties and drinking water beer with my friends, going to parties and having fun. I also enjoy sitting down with a great craft beer, taking it in, and writing about it here. I am new to the scene, but since I only have one more semester before graduation, I can see myself only drinking quality brew from may 2015 on out. Thats a bet.

    A hobby, but realistically the last entry on my list of "things to do" when I'm busy (i.e. all the time because of 70+ hour work weeks) and first entry on my list of "things I can live without" when I don't have the time.

    Besides that, just a hobby. Not too much money.... but cheaper than most hobbies i guess

    Beer and I are old friends, dating back nearly 50 years.
    I've enjoyed the evolution of well-made beers, and anticipate doing so for many more years.
