Duchesse de Bourgogne bottle date?

    Quick question.. I've got some bottles of Duchesse de Bourgogne in my cellar. Does anybody know how many years before "best before"-date this particular beer is bottled?

    I remember it having a "best before" date that was 2 years after bottling, but can't find my sources on this at the moment. I love it 3-6 months past it's end date, when its acetic acid/apple cider vinegar character pokes out a little more but not too much and the fruitiness hasn't died down too much.

    Curious, what are the dates on the ones you have?

    I want to say it’s 5 years from the bottle date. Had one earlier this year that was maybe 4 months past it’s best by date, but still tasted great.

    Ah, I got a message back from the brewery:

    "Goodmorning,

    The date on the bottle = Best Before Date
    There’s 2 year between bottling date and best before date.

    Kind regards,

    Brouwerij Verhaeghe Vichte NV"
