That is the only thing I could find on it too, but I took a chance and bought a 6er. A bit pricey, but well worth it. Polished off 2 bottles tonight. Love this beer!

Duck Rabbit 10th Anniversary Barrel-Aged Anarchy (10% abv for 10 years!):

To commemorate 10 years as The Dark Beer Specialist, Duck-Rabbit’s brewers hand-selected the very best of the barrel aged seasonal brews they had been hoarding in the Duck-Rabbit cellar. These included 37 bourbon barrels (and one red wine barrel) in which Duck-Rabbit had aged Dopplebock, Baltic Porter, Wee Heavy Scotch Ale and Rabid Duck Russian Imperial Stout. The oldest of these beers went into barrels in 2008, and the youngest had touched wood for just over 7 months. The brewers painstakingly blended these beers to produce a one-of-a-kind unrepeatable masterpiece. Rich with dark malt flavors infused with oak, coconut, vanilla and leather, this is a beer for the serious enthusiast. It’s only available in North Carolina and it will never come around again. The 10 year anniversary only happens once. Try some before it’s gone!

They hardly promoted it. The reflector was the only press until it started to hit shelves. Had it on tap at the brewery and its awesome.

I am already in the minority in that I don't really love it. It seems thin and a little muddled. To be honest, of the 4 base beers they used I only really like the Baltic Porter and Dopplebock. I only bought one for now and one to age and share.

I will say that I've had the BBA version of the Baltic Porter some years ago and it is still a top 5 beer ever for me and that I pick up the Dopplebock and Baltic Porter yearly.

The official description accidentally omits a bit of D-Rs Barleywine that was included in the meritage. It was liberated from the fancy Pinot barrel, and a WL Weller Bourbon barrel.

Agreed, that beer is fantastic. And I love the regular Baltic Porter. I get at least 2-3 six-packs whenever it lands.

Their dopplebock and schwarzbier are both two of my favorite beers.

This beer is fantastic. Definitely tastes like a BBA wee-heavy/stout/bock.

Apparently one of the local retailers is selling it for 44 dollars for a six pack. At that price it is staying on the shelves.

We might be doing shipping orders of this beer at Bruisin' Ales depending on how much more we get. I've had a few bottles and can say that it's pretty fantastic, if a little bit muddled as JohnnyK said.

Who is doing that? Is that retail or single bottle on-site consumption x6?

    That's ridiculous, I've heard mid-20's.

It was $4.99 per bottle at Bottle Rev. Looks like the usual Raleigh places are sold out now.

Any idea if this will be on tap at Duck Rabbit tomorrow night? and bottles for sale?

The only keg they had for the brewery came and went last Friday. No six packs for sale either. I'm sure they might be holding on to some for special events, but 99.9% of this went to distribution.

We must have the same local retailer.... And that local retailer is notorious for price gouging. Very frustrating.

This beer is quite tasty - I'd compare it to a backwoods or wulver but say it's better than both
