Duck Rabbit 10th Anniversary Anarchy

You can find it at Tyler's bottle shop in Raleigh, just picked some up. So good.

 

Amazing beer. Just cleared the shelf.

 

I think some places got a 2nd wave of it and others just got it later in general, but it's still hanging on at a few places around town. Had one last night, it's damn good.

 

Damn good indeed. Bravo DR for this one. Still got some at the TW in Greensboro (B'ground). FYI.

 

Drinking great now but man is this going to age well. Reminds me of Old Rabbits Foot as far as the barrel characteristic. Amazing.

 

Haven't seen any in Hickory. Hoping to pick some up in the Triad or Triangle while traveling next week.

 

Glass Jug in Durham has a few 6ers left as of Friday night. They also have Wicked Weed - French Toast on draft & for growlers.

 

Grocery stores were retailing for 28.99 a 6 pack. So 5 or 6 dollars a single makes sense

 

*sigh* I guess I'll buy a single. Criminy

 

Had some on tap at the brewery the first week it was available. Turned out great! Thought it was very balanced and easily one of my top 5 brews....thanks in part to a fat ABV. Again, congrats on the 10th Anniversary DR!

 

This the best barrel aged beer I've had in a while. Somewhere between a stout and a barleywine. Reminds me of what I remember of King Henry, although that was years ago.

 

I was tempted to pick up some while in Asheville this weekend, but not at $32/6 pack.

 

I think it was mentioned earlier in this discussion or another thread on this beer, but if you convert that to bombers, it would be ~9.78/bomber, which most people on here wouldn't think twice about, especially for a beer this good. That and most places were breaking it into singles to make it more affordable. I actually prefer the 12 oz bottles and gladly bought 6, but to each his own I guess.

 

Yeah, I got 4 from Bestway for $4.99/bottle. Of course, I could have bought 6. But it was essentially $20 for a 4 pack and that seems good to me in my own mind.

 

The price is fine as long as you can buy singles. If you're forced to buy 6 then it's BS.

 

I'm digging it; bought two sixers at the Triangle nearby, like $26 per six

 

Is any of this still available anywhere?

 

Where are you located? I grabbed some from the Huntersville TW a couple of weeks ago and they still had several cases.

 

I'm actually in Pensacola now. But I'd be happy to trade or reimburse.
