Good luck fixing the problems, many of us really enjoy the great stuff you guys produce. Wish I had some Rabid Duck to enjoy, but this box of schwag certainly is a great gesture, and well appreciated. Thanks Paul, and again I wish you luck in your fight against the bugs that ruin great beer.

Because I know you're all anxiously awaiting a report

A care package was dropped off at my favorite local bottle shop that included 2 6-packs of Duck-Rabbitor doppelbock, a Hoppy Bunny nonic glass and a nifty bottle opener (the same opener in cavedave's picture). Thanks Paul and Robert. Like Calton said, I hope you can get all the problems fixed up.

I agree. I just had a bottle and reviewed it (well, an hour ago) and it was certainly sour and tasted infected. I have been burned by DR before, but this will be the last straw. I will not purchase their beer again.

Feel it necessary to post here that after a brief exchange with Paul via email no more than a week ago, I received a package today with Duck Rabbit goodies. Good on this brewery for doing what they can to right what is probably a fairly significant issue for them.

I received a package of goodies as well. In recognition of DR making it right I picked up a sixer of Hoppy Bunny just 20 mins ago. Had to force my hand into the cooler to pick it up, but I did it. Got it home and it is quite tasty.

Unfortunately, i just purchased a 6er of Duck Rabbit's Hoppy Bunny Black Ale. Turned out to be very sour and likely infected. I tend to like REAL, INTENTIONAL SOURS, and am pretty forgiving when it comes to ABA's since it is a pretty ambiguous style, this beer was off, though. I could catch a quick taste of what the beer could be upon first sip, but it quickly moved to a sour apple flavor that was off-putting. Also tried a bottle of Duck Rabbit Brown Ale that had quite a bit of off flavors within.

Needless to say i was less than impressed with Duck Rabbit's offerings. They were probably my most anticipated brewery to check out on my trip to Asheville and it turned out that Terrapin was my favorite (i know, not NC but still Southern). I might give them another try next time i make it down to these parts, but they need to get their cleaning and sanitation program under control first.

Hoppy Bunny on tap was very good.

This problem they're having is across the board in product, and it's not a problem with the beer I've had on tap, they've all been very good. Must be in the way they do/did the bottling to be so far reaching but contained only to the bottled offerings..

Yup, all DR draft beers I've had in the last year have be fine.

We had to send back some kegs of Rabid Duck as they were starting to turn (although not as fast as the bottles). Also have had bad kegs of Milk Stout and their Amber Ale earlier this year, so it doesn't look like the problem is isolated to just bottles.

Damn. This issue is more widespread than I thought. Will be tough for me to buy their products in the future given all these reports across so many different beers.
