Duck-Rabbit Schwarzbier

I just grabbed a bottle of the Schwarzbier. Light sour cherry in it.

 

I'm glad I finally saw this. The Schwarzbier is one of my favorite beers ever, and I thought they had changed the recipe or something because there's definitely some tart cherry going on in there. The infection makes a lot more sense!

 

Have they gotten a handle on this yet? I am tired of avoiding their beers. Would really love to be able to pick up a DR sixer without worrying whether or not it will be infected…

 

I picked up a Schwarzbier in the last month and it was just fine. Can't speak for others, of course. Just grabbed a Milk Stout to send out as an extra, so I hope it's good!

 

The beer itself was delicious, by the way.

 

I did get a response and action was taken to my infected rabid duck. I'm sure the brewery received mass amounts of concerned messages throughout this whole process.

I hope they've finally fixed the problem. Would rather not find out ORF was delayed for months only to have it come out infected anyway. I've seen wee heavy on shelves lately. Love that beer but just can't pull the trigger on it.

 

Enjoyed a six pack last weekend. It was fantastic.
