I am looking for the best bottle shop in Duluth Minnesota. I am going to Ely Minnesota and need a quick stop to pick up local brews and get back on the road. I am also looking for Minnesota Brews I cannot find in Chicago. Thanks for your help in advance.

Warehouse is the best I've come across. Prices are great, selection is great, and best of all the owner is incredibly helpful and generous.

Grab some Bent Paddle and Borealis Fermentary, both Duluth breweries you won't find outside of MN. You can get them both at Warehouse Liquors.

I'm a fan of IPA's, APA's and Farmhouse Ales. I can get a lot of Surly in Chicago but I have never seen Bent Paddle, Fitgers or Borealis.

I know what's going to happen when i get there. I'm gonna see a sea of Beer and not know which ones to get. Does anyone have a favorite local brew they recommend?

Bent Paddle is worth a try. The IPA is all around good. Easy drinker. Schell's Star series 750s are great. Odell is sold in MN. Might have to run by Fitgers for growlers, as far as I know they only bottle a couple things a year.

Borealis Fermentary and Bent Paddle. Bent Paddle comes in cans, so giddy-up!

Are you going to be traveling through the Twin Cities? If so you might want to stop, and pick up some Olvalde Farm beers. They make a really great Belgian Strong Pale Ale called The Auroch's Horn. If you like farmhouse ales you'll like this beer. You'll have to get it in the Twin Cities though as they don't distribute to Duluth as far as I now.

No I won't be traveling through the twin cities. I will be going through Wisconsin most of the way and will enter Minnesota in Duluth. I also plan on picking up some Wisconsin Brews like New Glarus spotted cow.

Bent Paddle has a new pale ale coming out very soon in cans called Day Packer. Warehouse is a good option but Cashwise right down the street is cheaper and has the same selection (Warehouse is a union employee store).

Borealis is good and you might like their saison. Everything else is belgium style.

Keyport is closest if you want anything from New Glarus.

I will most likely stop in Eau Claire for gas so I'm gonna make a stop to the Coffee Grounds for Wisconsin Beer. Duluth will be my next stop where i get gas so the Warehouse Liquor sounds like a good stop for me also. I can't wait for this trip. I got 2 weeks in a Farm Lake Cabin that's connected to the BWCA. I'm looking forward to enjoying the nature and some local brews. My hometown of Chicago has some amazing beer but I always look forward to sampling beer from other places.

Mount Royale....Warehouse can be a little spendy on speciality releases but has a very robust international selection
