A few months ago I believe. They went from pouring out of kegs to serving tanks for their year round offerings I know for sure

How much are the growlers? Planning on a trip up there soon! Hoping they use other breweries' glass now...

I think they are $14 w/o glass. I don't know if they take other breweries glass or not. Can't hurt to try.

Had a glass of red, wheat, and blue Sunday at Burrito Union and it was outstanding.

Which place are you wondering about if they take others growlers? Pagean will I am pretty sure as will almost any place in Wisconsin (take note MN brewers it works very well in Wisconsin where they have been ahead of us in the craft industry for years). Canal Park probably does. They used to but then stopped when people whined they were breaking the law when they weren't. Fitger's probably won't as they pre-fill most but now that the law has officially changed to make it clear MN brewers can fill anyone's growlers who knows....they might...h

He was asking about fitgers... which I doubt will.

Looks like the Double Black Ale you talked about here did indeed spend some time in those Beam barrels, as they are bottling a Barrel Aged version in 750ml bottles soon! Label below:

Had the Double Black on tap last night at 7 West. Really great for such a young beer! Nice Jim Beam character, not hot at all for the ABV, smooth. They are bottling 3,000 750ml C & C which should hit their distribution in the next month. Sounds like it might be around $15 (?) which would be a bargain IMHO. They are doing another version of Double Black and using the Beam barrels once more. After primary it will be barreled for a while and then they are going to add cold pressed coffee before bottling. What a great start this brewery has had in such a short time!
