Was hoping to do a Dunkelweizen extract batch for my 2nd brew ever. Found this recipe online and was wondering if it looks decent. Any comments/tips much appreciated!

    6lbs Wheat Malt
    4lbs Munich Malt
    .25 lbs Chocolate Malt
    1oz Hallertauer @60
    .25oz Hallertauer @15
Wyeast 3068 or White Labs equivalent

You say extract batch, but then you say "Wheat Malt" and "Munich Malt" rather than LME or DME. Clarify?

Thanks for responding VikeMan. I just went back to "homebrewtalk" where I found that recipe and they never mention if they're LME or DME; just how great it is. Go figure. :astonished:

This recipe was in the same thread with more appropriate specifics. Look decent? Thanks again!

You know what, I'll just pick up that book. I predict many more batches in my future. Thanks, DaveOrlowski.
