I'm a semi-regular visitor to Durango (couple of times per year). I've been a regular at Star Liquors, and really liked their extensive mix-a-six singles selection. But on my last visit, last summer, they'd cut way back on their beer selection generally, especially the singles. So I'm looking for a new spot to go, on my current visit. Does anyone from Durango have other bottle shops that they can recommend? Visiting BA from Seattle area
I have recently found 6th Street Liquor just off College. Nothing major but I love their beer selection. Went in for 21st Amendment and came out with much more. Stop in during the day and speak with their beer guy, they is more than what is on the shelf. I fond more stuff there than I can find in the Steamboat area. Not only do they have a great selection, their prices are pretty damn good. Stop in and check them out, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Thanks for the reply. I'm back in the Seattle area now, but I'll remember to try 6th Street on my next Durango visit. On my last visit, I found Wagon Wheel Liquors (30 Town Plaza), and they had some good stuff, enough to take care of me.
