I'm traveling from the US to Spain and Morocco. Our first stop is Spain where I hope to buy some European beers. We're flying from Spain to Morocco where we'll spend a few days before returning back to the US.

From a rough translation of the Moroccan customs website http://www.douane.gov.ma, it seems like I can bring in one liter of wine and one liter of spirits (or equivalent) duty free. Anything over that limit, I will have to pay a duty. Anybody know how much the duty is? If I'm bringing 2 bottles of wine and 4 bottles of beer, will they even charge me or just waive me through? (the US customs just waives me through even when I declare beer)

The Moroccan customs website also says that I can leave my alcoholic beverages with the customs office duty free and pick it up when I leave the country (i.e. not consumed in Morocco) as long as my stay isn't over 60 days (I'm staying 4 days). The website says there is a limit but doesn't specify what the limit actually is. Does anybody know how many bottles I can leave? Has anybody ever done this? What was your experience?

How much are you planning on bringing? If it is just a couple of bottles, then I doubt anyone will notice.

I have flown through way too many airports and customs to worry about their regulations. I just never claim anything overseas, and my bags have never been searched.

Hell, I am flying to South Africa next month and plan to bring a bunch of beer to drink/share with some breweries down there.
