Considering they're using laser dating on glass it might not be as easy to use "/", while its easier and most people understand a julian date. If these were cans or plastic bottles I could see them going with a more traditional dating style.

Although Fresh beer states that there are two rows of numbers on Lagunitas beer bottles,
my bottle of Wilco Tango Foxtrot has one line- a bit difficult to read-04092 are the first numbers.
92nd day of the year? No space in the number.

I've mostly stopped buying Lagunitas beer because I can never find a date on them and I'm tired of getting burned by old beer. I picked up 3 different bottles of Hop Stoopid 2 days ago and couldn't find a date anywhere on any of them.

On the neck, very difficult to see. Ironically when bottle is empty it's easier to see, but too, late at that point.

I've never had too much trouble reading the codes. I much prefer the julian codes to best before dates.

The other day I was trying to find the julian date on a bottle of Hop Stoopid. For some "stoopid" reason they put the date on the neck and it's barely readable. Bottled in July and was definitely not as good as the fresh ones I've had.
