I came across some references that a brewery was to get built at the new outlet mall, but can't find recent info mentioning anything more on this. Anyone know if this has fizzled? It would be nice to have a brewery and tap room on the south side of the TC metro area, especially if "forced" to go shopping.
Cedar Grove Brewery and Tap, LLC was undergoing an intensive business-to-business networking and fundraising process up until February of this year, with some more news which was soon to be announced in March, but that's it. Ken Koch is the principal, and does not appear to be -at -all- active on Facebook, and his other online presence (business associations) seem to have been quiet since then, too. I think he was "beamed aboard the Mothership", perhaps? Edit: For those not on the same page, Cedar Grove is the big outlet mall/residential development that some of the retailers at Mall of America were a'feared would siphon some of their precious walk-by business. Not sure how it's all gone-over since it was built, but when I drove by there once, just another Eagan strip mall is all I saw (but yeah, I'm a codger. )
