Petrus Aged Pale changed my life. Far and away my fav sour. Though I haven't been able to get my hands on any of Russian River's offerings.

Petrus and monks cafe kept me away from sours for a long time. After trying these examples I thought I would be better off financially sipping on some newmans own balsamic vinagrette. Look into avery's barrel aged series.

I'd give it another try, or maybe another saison. It's so far away from a cruddy lager.

Cant go wrong with the aformentioned JP beers...Oro, La Roja, Bam Noire is nice...but Biere De Mars is the off the charts good...just the right amt of funk...look for it soon...

Get the Rodenbach Grand Cru if you can. The regular Rodenbach has too high of a blend of young ale, so it's not very tart at all... Still good, but not as good as Grand Cru

I don't have access to Grand Cru through the company I'm ordering from. I did order some boon gueuze and as others have suggested another saison. saison dupont. if I don't care for it I'll keep it to myself so as not to infuriate others with my own taste buds god knows we have to pound those square pegs into the round holes.
